ROC head honcho and matchmaker, Lou Neglia, has a strong history in helping fighters prepare for the next level of their careers by matching bouts that will test them both physically and mentally. In recent years, ROC featured many popular fights that fans were clamoring for such as the Chris Weidman vs Uriah Hall and Chris Wade vs Frankie Perez bouts. All four east coast fighters blitzed through their competition under the ROC banner and ultimately faced each other in championship bouts. While Weidman and Wade were the winners, there were no real losers as all four fighters are now competing in the world’s top MMA promotion, the UFC. Many feel that will also be the case for Buenafuente and Arce.
